Sponsored Content Disclosure

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Our promise

RuralMatch Australia is committed to clear, honest communication. When content on our Platform is paid for, sponsored, or part of a commercial partnership, we will say so. We will never disguise advertising as editorial content.

What counts as sponsored?

The following types of content may be sponsored:

  • Boosted job listings — Employers can pay $20 to boost a single job listing for 30 days, which gives that listing greater visibility. Boosted listings are clearly marked with a “Boosted” badge.
  • Partner directory listings — When we introduce a directory of trusted partners (education providers, migration agents, RTOs, English schools, insurance, tax services, etc.), partners may pay to be listed. These will appear with a “Sponsored” or “Partner” badge.
  • Promotional articles or guides — Where we publish content created or paid for by a partner, the article will display a clear “Sponsored” label at the top.

What is NOT sponsored?

The following are never influenced by payment:

  • Job listings on the regular jobs page (other than the visual boost on boosted listings).
  • Smart matching results — the order of matched jobs and workers is based on rule-based fit, not payment.
  • Editorial content, Harvest Calendar data, 88-Day Visa guidance, Worker Rights information, and New to Australia resources. These are written to be useful, not to sell.
  • Government and emergency contact information.

How we choose partners

Where we accept sponsored partners, we apply minimum standards:

  • Migration agents must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).
  • Education providers must be CRICOS-registered (for international students) or appropriately accredited.
  • Financial and tax services must hold the appropriate Australian licences.
  • We reserve the right to remove any partner whose conduct does not meet our standards.

Affiliate links

Some external links on the Platform may earn RuralMatch a small commission if you sign up or make a purchase through them. This never adds cost to you. We disclose affiliate relationships where they exist.

Your feedback

If you ever see content on the Platform that should be labelled as sponsored but isn’t, please tell us. Email info@ruralmatch.com.au and we will investigate.
