What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to site owners.
How we use cookies
RuralMatch Australia uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for the following purposes:
Essential cookies
These are required for the Platform to function. They keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language), and protect against security threats. You cannot disable these without breaking core functionality.
Analytics cookies
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular, how long visitors stay, and how the Platform performs. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Payment cookies
When you make a payment, Stripe sets cookies to process the transaction securely and detect fraud. See Stripe’s cookie policy for details.
Third-party services
The Platform uses these third-party services that may set their own cookies:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and performance
- Resend — transactional email (tracking only if you click email links)
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can usually:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them
- Block cookies from specific or all sites
- Set cookies to be deleted when you close the browser
If you block essential cookies, parts of the Platform (like staying signed in) may not work properly.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
